About me
Hi Beautiful People ! Loïc here, addicted to travel and experiencing anything our incredible world has to offer ...
The municipality worked hard to tell the story of the city in the nicest possible way. With as many multimedia content as possible like only Montrealers know how to.
Aura @ Basilique Notre-Dame
Pointe à Caillière - Museum of Archeology and History
Light Show @ Jacques- Cartier Bridge
Montréal Avudo
Cité Memoire
Festival des Arts de la Rue
Electro Parade
The reason is simple and rather logic : ” Any generations should be able to enjoy a celebration such as this one “
Plus it will be the 150th anniversary of Canada.
Moment Factory and other local multimedia and lighting studios teamed up on this one. The bridge for the next 10 years will be a giant data-responsive light installation. According to the seasons and to social media, the intensity, speed and density of these lights will change (depending on how often Montreal is mentioned on social media for example).
This is the right place to retrace the path of the first settlers. The Museum is built on the exact spot where Montréal was founded.
A multimedia show will make you travel through time from the first encounter with the Iroquois, to WW2.
The other part of the visit will tell you more about practices and customs and you will understand how this still has a very important influence on social behaviour.
On the Saint Laurent from May 17 to September 2 the Old Port will come alive.
The outdoor show was created to attract over 180 000 people. Illustrations, animations and archive documents will be played on four water screens as well as on containers columns (94 of them).
More than 20 different animations scattered in the streets of old Montreal. Download the application Montreal en Histoires to get more info about each augmented reality and much more. Each of them describes a character having participated in the evolution of the city.
Madonna, Cirque du Soleil, Olympic Games Opening, you name it. Moment Factory Team has been working for the biggest show. Specialized in multimedia and interactive technology, the mission to cover in virtual images the Basilique Notre-Dame is a success. The 17 minutes show brought “going to church” to an all new level.

Thanks to the Montréal Tourism Board who helped us planning the itinerary. We feel like we truly did manage to feel Montréal vibes and learn more about where does the culture come from. Even so we only scratch the surface.
We can only recommend to hire a guide for few hours. René Lemieux did a fantastic job to share his love for Montreal. Brighten up our morning with information which cannot be found in any books.
Hello from The Netherlands. Nice article, do you know when Avudo will be playing ? Do you need to buy tickets ? We are going to Montreal in June.
Thank you
Loesje
Good afternoon Loesje.
The show will be free, so we highly recommend to get there early. There will be around 100 representation spread out between May and September.

Je suis un vrai fan du travail de Moment Factory, mais nous nous attendions avec ma famille à un “spectacle” plus long.
